Weddings are here!!!!
So is the time to dance, put your hair down and dress up! After my previous post on 5 festive looks under 10k – I came up with these Wedding looks which are also very budget friendly (read all less than 15k). All outfits, accessories, looks are keeping in mind the current trends but they also make sure that you are stress free and can enjoy without being too worried about a falling dupatta or a peekaboo choli!
I am introducing a Cocktail look, a Day Wedding and a Reception look in this post. Read on for details –
1.Classic Red Drape Saree to standout at the Cocktail
You need something easy-breezy, comfortable to dance in, no fuss to take care type of outfit which still looks elegant and this piece by Dessara fills all these requirements. The lycra makes the outfit fit you like second skin! All you got to do is add long earrings and a funky clutch. Keep the hair simple, tie them to make a statement and also to keep them away from your face while you dance 😛 . Make up can be a gold and black smokey eye with a red lipper to amp up the glam quotient.

2. Peach Anarkali with attached dupatta for the Day Wedding
Day weddings are in trend these days and how! A pastel colour like this peach really comes out well + an anarkali never goes out of style. Shikha & Nitika add beautiful pearl work into the attached dupatta which again keeps you away from all the stress of handling a dupatta. The sleeves are all sparkly 😀 With the correct jewellery – voila! The hair can be a little simple with curls. Add one big maangtikka and a big ring. Make up for a day wedding needs to be simple and sober – thanks to the sunglasses the eyes don’t require too much attention – but keep it peachy and glowy to look fresh!

3. A chic Indo-western Asymmetrical attire with Skirt for the Grand Reception.
This is my favourite – very grand and royal! A deep green off shoulder with a golden skirt. Just add a choker and a watch with it and you look like a queen(at least I felt like one). Receptions are usually a big affair with a lot of people and a little formal too – the belt with dupatta completes the look. Kept my hair pretty natural for this one as the outfit speaks for itself. Even the make up was general with just a dark rust lipstick because with such a grand outfit, you need to keep everything else simple.

The best part about all the above designers were the timelines. Usually we end up going to shop at the last moment but all the above 3 designers were super quick with time and quite good with fittings.
Oh also, don’t forget to have fun! I had a blast wearing a saffah at this wedding and standing out too 😛 Take a look –
Go ahead and make a fashion statement while having fun at your besties wedding! Also, while you are at it – tell me which is your favourite look?
